Cheerful Camper Van Makeover

Nick Smith and Emma Allard's escape from the humdrum includes traveling the UK in a camper Van. The old yellow VW was dark and funky when the couple first acquired it. Because they're also DIYers, they jumped right and began making the vee-dub into a bright and cheerful place to call their home on wheels. They went with an ocean-front, nautical look with striped cushions and bunting and polka dot curtains. Gone are the dingy cupboards; they're now bright and clean white. Although not seen in these pictures, the floor went from sad to glad with the help of black and white, stick-on tile.
