How to Turn a Drum Into a Pendant Light

Lindsay bought a used Tom drum off Ebay for 30 bucks and decided to turn it into a pendant light. At 12 inches tall and 10 inches wide, a Tom is a perfect specimen for this project, but I can imagine other drums-types would work too. The process of conversion is pretty simple. Some scrap wood, finish nails, a drill, jigsaw, pendant light kit, scissors or Xacto and light canopy and that's it. Follow this jump to Living with Lindsay to see how it all came together.
