How to Make Comic Book Art

By: Diy maven Jan 24, 2012

Megan successfully reproduced Lichtenstein's 'Crying Girl' with nothing but foam board, graphite transfer paper, fat markers, a ball point pen and Picnick. Visit Polish the Stars to see how to make some comic book art for yourself. For comparison's sake, here's Lichtenstein's original:

to tory- Lichtenstein is no longer alive, so i don't think he's worrying about copyright infringment. Looks awsome.

I am somewhat shocked that this community would promote copyright infringement of this sort. I do no think that this project, tracing someone else's artwork for free, onto a foamboard so that you do not have to pay the artist is something that should be even acceptable let alone promoted. Artists have a hard enough time selling their work without others using the internet to get it for free.

Now that took patience to do all those dots even using a pattern! Great job!
