Old Books = New Lamp
Okay, we have a way to reuse old plastic toys, but what about old hardback books? Make another lamp, of course. Thanks to the wire shade, I'm getting a kind of steampunk vibe from this creation; however, with a fabric shade, it would change the 'feel' completely. As with most lamp projects, the supplies to make it are minimal and include the following:
- old hardbacks, about 8
- lamp kit
- lamp shade
- spray paint
- drill
- 1/2" drill bit
- razor blade or box cutter
- 1-1/4" screws
- 2" screws
- screwdriver
