Modern Bathroom Makeover

Located in Las Vegas, this bathroom needed a some punch. Designer Gina De Pasquale paid tribute to the home's mid century modern architecture while simultaneously bringing it into the 21st century.

I especially find admirable Gina's choice to mix 'high- and low-priced fixtures and accessories'. For example, the tile was a whopping 77 bucks a square foot, yet the laminated boxes and shelving were from IKEA and the towel holders from Lowes. See and read more about the projects at Sunset.

Oh wow, this gives me hope that one day my ugly little bathroom will be pretty too :)

Isn't it drool worthy Capreek? We have tile that color as the back splash in our kitchen and as the floor in our half bath, but it's square. Though I love our tile too, this shape takes it a step further to awesome!

I think I want to marry that tile.

Wow! I highly recommend other check out the rest of the pictures at the link where they show a couple other views under the HOME tab and then check "Before and After".

I love how they kept all the natural wood. Just gorgeous.
