If you are going to have shelves in a room, you might as well make them really interesting, right?  Decorative accessories will be clamoring for a spot on these minty modern goodies.   Actually, the shelves are statement enough, I am not sure I'd be brave enough to add anything to them, but the gals at DesignLoveFest had no problem making them more fabulous with simple styling.

Their modern take on Art Deco design was made easy for this project with just some creative placing of painter's tape.  You can find the tutorial (and styling video!) on Design Love Fest.
