By: Chrisjob Aug 02, 2012

Hey, hey! It's August, and this month, we're all about those most used rooms in your home: the kitchen and baths! To start things off, we're sharing this bathroom cleaning cheat sheet and check list, which'll help you keep things nice and sparkly (and sanitary!) with just a little bit of effort every week.

There are two ways to access the download:

1) Sign up for our free, weekly newsletter (we won't spam you, and you'll get a link to the download after you sign up). Go to our newsletter signup page to get started.

2) Get it from our Facebook page: http://on.fb.me/e4C4iv (you'll need to become a fan first)

Stay tuned for more downloads coming up (if you fan us on Facebook or sign up for the newsletter, you'll be able to access the rest of the cheat sheets too!)

Hi Kelly - please try going to http://www.facebook.com/curbly/app_190322544333196 and click on "Cleaning Cheat Sheets (Download PDF)". The PDF will display in full, which you can then right-click (control+click) and save to your hard drive.

Hey Curbly,

I found this site, and the link for the Kitchen (http://www.curbly.com/users/bruno/posts/14107-free-download-kitchen-cleaning-cheat-sheet) through your new Clean like a Housemaid.  I really wanted to download them, but they are not available on your FB download page.  And the link to sign up is broken - not that I should need it because I'm already signed up.

That leaves me with 2 questions/thoughts:

  • Is it still possible for me to get my hands on these downloads that your most recent one references?
  • You should have a separate page on your website for all of your free downloads.  It could require a log-in, but it would still serve the purpose of being a 1 spot-shop for all of us who are already registered and would prefer not to use FB for downloads....

Just a thought!

Kelly

@How_Disappointing:

If you signed up for our newsletter (with your e-mail address), you should have received a confirmation e-mail from us containing the download links to these (and other) PDFs. If you didn't perhaps it got caught in your spam folder. It's also possible our confirmation e-mail wasn't sent (our fault). In any case, you can e-mail me directly (bruno@curbly.com) and I'd be happy to send them to you.

I'm sorry you don't like Facebook. We use it as our sign up method because it keeps thousands of spammers from creating junk accounts on Curbly.

Gee, Bruno, sorry to say, but it looks like Caitlin maybe be right; not about her ad hominem comment of course, quite nice people can use sleazy Web practices.

You alread HAVE my email address since I'm subscribed to your site but, first, when I wanted to join the site this morning I was taken to a page than only offerd sign-ups via 'my FaceBook page' . I don't have a FB and never will...

So, now I see these "Cleaning Cheet Sheets" which I think would be handy... but can I download them??? NO ....but wait, you already have my email... Isn't that one of the two ways you tell people they can get these sheets??? Why, yes it is...

The other way to (supposedly) get access to the downloads is to "Fan" you on FailBook, but we've already covered that.

All this might seem simply like unfortunate oversights until one sees that in the column titled "More Like This" on each of the pages for the "free download" checklists, THE TEXT OF THE LINKS IDENTIFIES THE FILES AS .JPG DOCUMENTS... Which they aren't at all. They are links back to pages that as for my email or FB.

Ooooooppppsssss.

Kinda looks like Curbly sucks.

Bye Caitlin...don't let the blog door hit ya in the back!!!!

Keep up the good work!

I really enjoy your site and I thank you for putting your time and energy to share with others. Thanks a bunch!
For shame, some people r cold :::hug:::

Hi Caitlin,

Generally I appreciate reader feedback, but I urge you to reconsider your comment. There are real people behind this site. Like me, Bruno, the founder. I'm sitting here holding my ten-day-old newborn, typing with one hand. I'm a real person, I'm nice, and I work hard. I'm not gross.

Chris, the author of this post, is also a real person. He lives in Ohio. He likes kimchi. He's not gross either.

We try to create a good mix of original content and curated 're-blogs'. Don't believe me? Try this page: http://curbly.com/section/curbly-original.

A shameless gambit? Not at all. I'm proud of it. I worked hard to put these cheat sheets together. They took me many hours to lay out and design. I drew all the graphics from scratch. And in return, we're asking for your e-mail or your 'like' on Facebook. Don't want to give those up? No problem, just don't download the cheat sheets.

The internet can feel pretty anonymous sometimes, Caitlin, but it's not. We're real people working as hard at our jobs as I'm sure you work at yours.

Thank you, Curbly!

OK, Curbly- your lack of original content and now this shameless gambit for fans and email addresses is enough for me. I am unsubscribing you from my RSS feed. You are gross.
