" It’s too narrow to fit a bed lengthwise, but using a bit of plywood and 2x4s he built his own custom bed/couch. When it’s down as a bed the room is mostly bed and when it’s up as a couch he has a very close relationship with the wall, 'but I just use it as an excuse not to buy an ottoman because... I can just prop my feet right up on the wall.' He keeps his clothes, plates, microwave, books, spices and shaving and cleaning supplies in a large built-in cabinet. Well maybe I thought the "eight hundred" was "a hundred". Guess I need to get my hearing checked.

Yep, $800. "A Midtown Mansion"

I heard $800. That's insanity.

I heard $750. It's in Midtown Manhattan, so that's incredibly low...

I believe it said one hundred dollars a month on the video Kat.

I would love to know how much he pays in rent for that.

I felt claustrophobic just watching that.

He does inspire me to get rid of all the extra stuff I don't need though.  Plus, I've heard from other big city/small apartment folks that living in a small space encourages them to get out more and interact with the world.

Is that legal?

Wow, I have to admire anyone that can make such a small space work for them. I think I'd want my own bathroom though. No, I know  I'd want my own bathroom.
