Admittedly, I’m a bit of an under-decorator. I prefer the most minimal of minimal centerpieces (this was my centerpiece from xmas ’09, for example). As such, I’m always on the lookout for super-simple centerpiece ideas that are a) modern and b) inexpensive. And of course, unique and easy. Fortunately, the following centerpiece ideas are all that – and more!
Real Simple really out did themselves with this collection of 20 5-minute centerpieces for every occasion. I’ve highlighted a few of the holiday-appropriate settings, but if you’re itchin’ for some non-holiday related inspiration, check out the whole set here.
Looking for a way to use up those no-carve pumpkins? Simply chop off the top and add flowers. Voila! Insta-centerpiece. For a sweeter setting, try a few holiday-colored lollipops in a painted bucket. Fun and fanciful.
I love the use of fresh produce here – unexpected and gorgeous!
Spray-painted leaves or carnations in a wooden salad bowl – you can’t get much simpler than that!
