Whether you’re a re-usable grocery bag kind of person, a fashionista, or someone who likes a bit of style with their functionality, this DIY leather bag project is for you!
All you need to make this project from Ivania Carpio of Love Aesthetics is the following:
- two pieces of leather (roughly however big you want your bag to be)
- pen or pencil to mark with
- ruler
- craft knife/Xacto knife
- sewing machine
After that, just measure (dashes are about 1.5 – 2 inches apart), cut, and sew! If you need more directions, Ivania has a post up on NSMBL with a few more details — check it out!
*Don’t want to use leather? You could easily swap out the leather for a material of your choice! The cutting technique should be the same.
