How To: Make a DIY Wood Cube Pendant Light!
This might be one of the coolest lighting projects I've seen in a while! It's big, bold, modern, and kinda rustic all at once... win-win-win-win in my book!
Basic woodworking skills are all you need to pull off this wood cube light. That and about 25 feet of 3/4" square wooden dowels. Oh, and a pendant lighting kit (or you could repurpose an existing pendant light)! Check out how it's done over on Vintage Revivals!
Just for fun, would you leave this wooden cube raw or would you opt for some stain (or even some wildly bright paint)? Since I'm still riding the neon train, I'd love to see this in a crazy-bright neon pink or yellow! Or, hey, even a matte black would look awesome!
