Bake It: Heart-Shaped Macarons for Valentine's Day!
Okay, first, this how-to comes from a blog called "Delectable Deliciousness", which is totally my kind of alliteration. Secondly, um, HEART-SHAPED MACARONS!
Admittedly, I've only had macarons twice in my entire life, but the memory still haunts me (in a good way), so the idea of making my own--from scratch--in the shape of a heart is quite... appetizing. Jayme Michelle from the previously-mentioned Delectable Deliciousness blog offers up a really great tutorial and recipe for making your own (which, she says, makes A LOT of macarons). You can outfit your entire neighborhood / book club / craft group with these bad boys! Whaddya say?
