Before & After: A Mid-Century Modern Makeover!

Whether you're on the fence, passionately opposed, or enthusiastically in favor of painting wood furniture (see Melanie's recent post  "To paint or not to paint?"), you've got to admit that the "after" in this case looks pretty dang good.

Anon, I hate paint on beautiful antique wood more than anyone, but that dresser was meant to have a pop feel and is clearly made of formica.

I liked it before but i bet upon closer inspection that it was laminate, in which case i dont think of it as a crime against MCM furntiture. I think she did a pretty good job. Besides, it clearly makes her happy and thats whats important.
