Whether you're celebrating birthdays, holidays, or life events, chances are there will be treats involved.  Now you can make your own custom stands (for cheap) from partially thrifted items!  AmberLee from Giver's Log shares this simple tutorial for making your own colorful and quirky treat stands from thrifted candlesticks and melamine plates.  The best part?  They're interchangeable and break down for easy storage!

Here's what you'll need:

  • thrifted candlesticks
  • cork that fits snugly into the candlesticks
  • playful drawer pulls
  • nuts and washers
  • fun melamine plates
  • primer and spray paint
  • hack saw and drill

 if you dont want to pack away you can also glue the base on with E6000 and  you can also use glasses ,tea cups, for the base stand and why not make 3 teir ones  you can use old china plates to if you glue its best to use a little glue as it goes along way
