Okay you guys. If there was ever a "Why didn't I think of that?!" project, this is it! I mean, we're talking beyond brilliant, beyond clever, and beyond EASY. This DIY idea is just plain smart.
Leave it to the always clever, always crafty Kate from Centsational Girl to come up with a creative use for old paint cans. If you're like me and have an ever-growing stash of nearly-empty paint cans from projects gone by, this is one thrifty DIY you'll definitely want to jump on! It's super easy, super inexpensive, and super quick - you could hammer out quite a few of these babies in one Saturday or probably even just one afternoon.

Kate uses gallon sized cans for her hanging planters, but you can use whatever size you have on hand. (It might even look pretty cool to have a mixture of sizes.) Once you've gathered all the cans you're going to use, hit up Centsational Girl to see how it's done!
So Curbliers, how would you design your "new" paint can planters? Stripes, words, CHEVRONS? I'm digging the idea of black with white polka dots!
