For Bedroom Month here on Curbly, we're exploring your sleeping habits in a series called "Sleeper Survey," (see the first and second installments). Today we're digging a little deeper into your bedroom tendencies, with some questions that we hope will push your buttons (just a little bit) and spark some good discussions. Don't worry, your response is completely anonymous and we're just collecting this unscientific info for fun and conversation.

And here are the results!

Speaking of which, don't stop at answering the survey! Chime in with a comment about why you prefer what you prefer as you get ready for bed.

I used to be a one pillow girl all the way... until I had my wisdom teeth taken out.  I had to sleep sitting up because laying flat or on my side was WAY too painful.  I actually really liked it, so now I sleep with at least 2 pillows to elevate my head.

The pillow one was tricky -- I don't use a pillow and my beau uses two so we have four on the bed, but two get ditched in the night!

I hang my foot out of the covers also...  One can get too hot in a hurry, ya know!  We have a king-size bed.  My husband uses the top sheet, I use a seperate cotton open weave blanket as my sheet.  We each have two pillows, plus there are two between us or I tend to hog the bed.  :)

Ditto to foot outside the bed for temperature regulation. And lots of pillows, 3 regular + 1 body pillow just for me. Hubby uses 2. If he's gone I use all of them, and don't even ask how many I needed when I was pregnant!

I absolutely cannot sleep without a mask. If I'm traveling and I forget my sleep mask, then I have to put a folded washcloth over my eyes or I won't be able to sleep a wink. Any degree of light will wake me up.

Two pillows on each side of a queen + body pillow =5 pillows total.

We have more than 4 because I have back and neck problems. I have to use several small pillows instead of the standard pillows.

We have maybe7 pillows on the bed. I have one pillow that I still use that I've had since infancy, and then one that goes under it but then gets pushed up against the headboard. My boyfriend sleeps with one pillow, and we have several lining the wall because it gets cold.

I have a standard pillow on either side of my queen bed.  I also have a body pillow and a knee pillow.  And a stuffed animal that acts like a pillow.  And sometimes a little bolster to burrow into.  My bed is a pillow fortress.

We have seven pillows used nightly. We're both side sleepers, and so use them for support to keep our spines straight. I know it sounds fussy, but it saves me from weeks of pain.

And I almost always have a foot hanging out from under the covers...

does anyone need to hang one foo/legt out from under the covers!?  :o)
