I've made a bit of a custom of checking in on Thanksgiving morning and saying thank you to all our readers (see 2010, 2006!). November and December are our busiest months of the year, and we work really hard to make sure we do a great job keeping you informed about the best gifts, decor ideas, and DIY projects for the holidays. It's a lot of work, and Thanksgiving day is one of the few we 'take off'.
So, I just wanted to say thanks. To our dedicated readers, who visit, comment, and share our writing with friends: thanks for making Curbly possible.
To our managing editor, Chris, who works very hard behind the scenes to organize all our content (and even kicks in an awesome DIY project or two occasionally).
To DIY-Maven, who has been with us since the very beginning (5 years!), setting the tone for the content on the site, and contributing countless amazing projects and blog posts.
To Capree, whose sense of style, love of color (and robots), and attention to detail suffuse every post she writes.
To Alicia (my wife), who, despite her own busy schedule, finds time to pitch in with gift guides, organization projects, and great tricycle makeovers for our own, best DIY project (Ayla).
To Melanie, who never shies away from a good DIY project.
And to our amazing former (or just on-hiatus, or just occasional) contributors: Kelly, Shelly, Erin, Meg, Jill, Brittany, and Miki.
Last year, here in Minnesota, we were buried in snow:
This year the view out our front door looks a lot friendlier:
I'm thankful for that, too. Enjoy the holiday!
