Before and After: An Outdated Pantry Gets a DIY Renovation

By: Brittni mehlhoff May 01, 2014

I've never been envious of someone else's pantry, until now. This before and after makeover is really dramatic. Click through to see the after.

Jordan from Oh Happy Day completely gutted her old, and very basic, pantry. Now, she has a gorgeous space complete with floor to ceiling subway tile, gold accented shelving, and plenty of room for food and drinks for the whole family.

The best part about this renovation though is that Jordan and her family did the entire thing themselves, minus the electrical. Pretty impressive for a do-it-yourself job. Don't you think?

Form over function. Very pretty but so much wasted space and no way to adjust shelves

I think I'm in agreement with Paul.  Bad design idea.  Looks pretty in the pics, but isn't very practical, especially when you fill it up like a real pantry would be filled (and then it's prob no very pretty either).

What a pathetic designers look. Shelving over wall tiles a cracking mistake. Flimsey shelf supports will not last the time and the curved look will interfere with goods on shelves. Goods staged for photo opp unrealistic. Sad.

Wow!  Impressive! Congratulations!

What is the source for those lovely brackets for the selves?
