How Do I Salvage my Cast Iron Skillet?
Apparently someone used my cast iron skillet (without my knowledge) to sear fruit (peaches or plums) that just about ruined the coating on the skillet. I would appreciate any help that anyone can offer as what I can do / how I can clean the skillet or should I trash it, buy a new one and keep my pots and pans under lock and key?
