Sporadic Wine Racks....DIYable?

Modern Cellar’s Sporadic Wall Panels turn wine bottles into sculpture. Elegant, lovely and simple. So simple, in fact, I’m thinking they’d be easily diy-able. No? The website doesn’t offer any info as to the prices of the ready-made versions, but I’m guessing they aren’t cheap. For all you interested wood workers out there, the dimensions ARE included in the individual panels’ descriptions.

Ditto what Maven said. We're just trying to highlight designs we love, while encouraging people to be creative.

Modern Cellar, here at Curbly, we find inspiration from other's work. If the thought of DIYers attempting to make a wine rack based upon your design upsets you, my appologies. However, considering the materials used and the engineering involved, it sounds like it would be an impossible feat. So, no worries! As far as mentioning our inspiration, a link to your site was included in the original post, which I hope brought you an order or two--from non-woodworker types.

Our creative team champions inspiration and sharing ideas. Unfortunately it is disheartening to find suggestions of a DIY application for the purpose of appropriating/copying/cloning/mimicking a company's own design for themselves.

However, we will toast to you if you are able to source equivalent FSC certified wood and the ability to match the proprietary engineering of the rear bottle holding mechanisms.

And be sure to mention your inspiration. We would only do the same.....
