Thanks for the tip about plugging up holes in walls with toothpaste. I've been using toothpaste for years to clean silver and it works like a charm.

Have been using Crest for many years to clean my hard contact lenses, just be sure you get it all off before placing back in your eye or it feels mighty cold.

Could be one reason my contacts seem to last so long, typically 7 to 11 years, works very well for getting heavy bacterial deposits off as well as scratches!
