Wow! You would think their Realtor might have mentioned that things like that don't bring clients running to make offfers! Heh!

"An ass for every seat"...ha! Your story reminded me of something we saw while shopping for our first house. In the basement, the owner had assembled a diorama--complete with about two dozen or more taxidermy stuffed animals & fake greenery and such. It took up the entire perimeter of the family room. No kidding. Needless to say, we couldn't get past the dead animals and passed on the house. Still gives me the willies when I think about it!

Exactly! and with some frosted sections, maybe vinyl tape off horizontal lines and sand the uncovered areas...
I don't have any application for a baby gate anymore, but I would try it if I did. I think I still have a gate though.

What about a framed in plexi glass half door? That would be kinda cool. Then the little crumbcatchers could still look into the other room. They have super stong bullet proof stuff too.

No no, don't take it down! I think it is a good post. Inject a little style into babygates by all means!

Well, it is one of us to be sure! I think, I might be one of the vertical blotches reflected in the bumper. That is my dear wife, working on the car! Heh! She is quite handy as well, you see. :)

Thanks for the comment. And hey, the roller blind is "Enje" at Ikea. Retails for about $15 and is pretty fantastic for where it's at right now. It's a little sheer (which is fine since I'm always decent washing dishes anywho). Bright white blind with powdered chrome looking finish, handy chain thingie, too.
Just about everything we've got is Ikea as I live 10 min from one and 30 from another. Also, it's cheap. Yay!
