My happy, sunny window

The happy place in my apartment has got to be the large window in front of my 2 seater dining room table. The entrance to my apartment is on the ground floor, but from the back of my apartment it appears as if i'm a few floors up, as I am able to peer over the treetops. The 2 seater table is a cozy one borrowed from my mother. I used it a few years ago before I started travel nursing, and when I stopped travel nursing she let me borrow it again. Only this time it had been through hell. There were no screws to hold the legs on, so I duct taped them to the table. This is the happy place where my son and I eat oatmeal in the morning, and spaghetti for dinner. It's also where we do hours worth of first grade homework. I'm thankful, and I love my happy place.
