Part of our sculpture series, "Social Science." Materials: mouthblown glass, sand, plastic, cork. The hand-etched inscription is a Buddhist prayer, repeated over and over again. We think of each sculpture like a message in a bottle, and they explore the subtleties of human relationships--to each other and ourselves. This series of work will be shown at the 2006 ~scope Art Fair in Miami, Dec. 6-10. We will be represented by Kasia Kay Art Projects (Booth no. 45).
