yes i did paint...and when i did i had some bubbling happen where the paper when re-wetted didnt want to stick so i just ripped the paper where the air pockets came up and put a bit of paint behind the paper and re-stuck it...i suppose there is something that would make the paper stick better but its there now...too much work to change it. but im happy with it. i just think if someone else is going to paint the paper they should find something that would stay stuck to the wall better for painting on top of

Wow! Your walls look awesome! I'm guessing you painted over the paper? My walls look very much like the paper in it's original state, but yours seem to have a shine that looks really, really nice. Way to go.

ill try with the pics...i painted my finised product with light color let dry first then darker and smeared the darker paint after it dried some...thats the leather look i got

I'm glad to hear you tried it. I didn't actually soak the paper I used. My technique centered mostly on the smear, stick, smear. I'd smear paste onto the wal, the put a piece of paper over the paste, then smear more past over the paper I just put down. In the end, I guess it doesn't matter much how you do it, just as long as the paper sticks.
I hope you post pictures... I'd love to see how it turned out.
