Stack Your Wine Bottles with Style.

By Chrisjob

vineyard3 Stack your Wine Bottles with Style : Vineyard by Pack a& Rack

I can't think of a better way to put it, so I'll let the manufacturer describe the Vineyard from Pack and Rack:

Why hide a beautiful thing? Wine speaks to all your senses, not least to the eye. So why then tuck away a beautiful bottle of deepest red with a label that probably has been designed by a well known artist? Show your wine - let friends and customers admire this piece of art!

How To: Make a Paper Winebag.

By Chrisjob

Winebag_main

Perfectly thoughtful gifts require perfectly thoughtful wrappings. And less-than-sublimely personalized gifts DEMAND thoughtful wrappings. A bottle of wine is always a neutral choice (only the decision between red or white), and to present it?

How To: Van Gogh on a Bottle.

By Chrisjob

dscf4194

Seeking to repurpose a used wine bottle and reapply the skills she learned in college, Monica Ewing sought to recreate a classic impressionist painting on her unlikely surface. "It was the perfect assignment for a novice painter such as me. On a wine bottle, you can’t see the entire painting at once, so mistakes in proportion, etc. are obscured. Here, I copied one of my favorite Vincent van Gogh works: Wheat Field with Cypresses." Use the tool » READ MORE

Reusing Wine Bottles - Wine Lamp

By SustainableSuppers

created at: 2009-05-12The hubby and I like to imbibe from time to time, and we usually recycle our bottles.  But every once in a while, we figure out a nifty way to reuse them: sometimes we use an empty bottle make salmeura, gleaning from a recipe in Shannon Hayes's superb grass-fed meats cookbook The Grassfed Gourmet.  Other times, we save a few bottles in the hopes that we'll find some obliging dandelions to pluck and turn into our own house vintage.

"When creativity, ecology and innovation collide, packaging becomes the product. This sleek wine box by Ciclus converts into a table lamp with no extra parts required. Totally DIYable Wine Cooler Sleeves

By DIY Maven

Check out these cheeky Wine Sleeves from Urban Outfitters. They're 4.5" in diameter and 12" high and at 20 bucks a piece they're not too expensive, BUT a trip to Good Will could produce the goods to make several for that price! If I were making one, I'd fit the shirt sleeve inside the suit sleeve, pin them in place, turn them inside out and then sew a seam across the bottom, as suggested in the pic below. What to do with the middle part of the » READ MORE

Sporadic Wine Racks....DIYable?

By DIY Maven

Modern Cellar’s Sporadic Wall Panels turn wine bottles into sculpture. Elegant, lovely and simple. So simple, in fact, I’m thinking they’d be easily diy-able. No? The website doesn’t offer any info as to the prices of the ready-made versions, but I’m guessing they aren’t cheap. For all you interested wood workers out there, the dimensions ARE included in the individual panels’ descriptions.

How to Wrap a Wine Bottle Restaurant Style

By DIY Maven

A swaddled bottle of vino looks nice, doesn’t it? And now, thanks to LifeHacker, we can all truss up our bottles like veritable sommeliers. If you’ve spent a fortune and you want your guests to see the wine bottle’s label, you’ll want to use the first technique. If, however, your budget has restricted you to a $5 bottle of wine, you’ll want to go for the second method as it will hide the label rather nicely and still impress your guests! » READ MORE

Gift: Bottle of Wine with a Handmade Bonus

By ModHomeEcTeacher

created on: 07/28/08

Is it only me, or do others feel like a mere hostess gift needs a little something extra to make it personal? I usually try to write a short, funny poem to accompany a gift that may come up a bit short.  Instructables, has a simple, quick tutorial to make a necklace out of your favorite wine cork.  I see it working like this:  You buy two bottles of wine, pop the cork on one for the necklace, have a few glasses while you craft your handmade » READ MORE
