The Fluid Faucet by Kohler, Doubles as a Drinking Fountain.
By Chrisjob
Nope, the Fluid Faucet by Kohler is not the first take on the turn-your-faucet-into-a-drinking-fountain option (see here and here), but it's likely the first modern, integrated approach. It maintains a fully positional "nose" to aim the water exactly where you need: towards the sink for washing, around 75-degrees for drinking, and parallel to the sink for squirting water all over your roommates.

The Flower Vanity

Duebi Italia’s Flower Vanity may have a flowery shape, but there's nothing flowery about it. An abstract interpretation of an organic form, the vanity possesses that delicate combination of bold modernity and whimsy. Via trendir.

Make a cool sink out of a $50 Ikea table
By Doug Aamoth
Looking for an inexpensive way to build one of those cool sinks-in-a-table? This might be right up your alley.
IkeaHacker.com has a great piece on how to turn a $50 Ikea table (The Bevkam Kitchen Cart) into a fashionable bathroom sink.
The process involved using a sabre saw to cut a whole in the top part of the cart before assembling it. Once assembled, the cart was stained dark brown and waterproofed.
Then, a sink and faucet from one of Home Depo » READ MORE
How To Unclog Drains Without Chemicals
By Chrisjob"Drains are hidden heroes in your home. If you’re lucky, you can go for years without thinking about them, but when dirty sink water suddenly won’t go away or a toilet won’t flush, they can be a major frustration. A plugged drain certainly demands attention, but fixing it is probably something you can do yourself. You’ll get faster results than calling a pro, and you’ll save money, too."

How To Free a Stuck Garbage Disposal.
By ChrisjobOur garbage disposal jams at least three or four times a month...partially because my wife tries to overextend it, and partially because it sucks. So last time, I ask the maintance man to show me how to do fix it so they wouldn't have to come so often. He refused, citing some legal ramifications. So I told him no thanks, and that I'd just figure it out myself.
So, I did.

Kitchen Stream/Sink
By DIY Maven
This stream sink, also known as The Mystic, is about 48" long and slopes from 2 1/8" depth to 4 ½". Not exactly good for washing up the dishes, but it’s addition to the kitchen would be more for its entertainment value anyway. Elkay's The Mystic sells for about $1500. And if it proves to be THAT entertaining, you might be able to take tickets at the door to help you pay for it.
Is That an Altar in Your Bathroom?
By DIY Maven
Natural stone is hot, no doubt, but some sink manufacturers are taking the trend to the next level with all stone pedestal and console sinks. Yeah, they’re heavy and expensive, but hey, if you love the look of stone, want to make a statement and have the bucks with which to do it, it’s an option. Plus, if you want to use your new sink as a sacrificial altar, the drain would make for easy cleanup.

Diminutive Bath Vanity/Sink...Small Bath
By sparkie[ Added: I just got out the tape measure, paper & pencil. Sure measures small. Overall, 4'10" X 5'10". The slope in ceiling starts almost immediately and reaches 6' clearance about 38" into bath, just above the stool. (Not for a tall man, huh!) Even this diminutive vanity at 12" deep may be too much. At about 8" a vanity would start into the traffic pattern/doorway. Maybe some creative shallow storage solution is available. I don't like pe » READ MORE
Beaded Curtains...on a bathroom sink?
By alexrussell

I can't tell if the Moxie wall-mounted lavatory from Kohler is cool or just weird. Hanging beaded curtains along the edges of a wall-mouned lav is definitely a new idea. A sink is a wonderful thing, but there's always functionality right at the throat of aesthetics. People want dirty water to go away but almost nobody wants to see a sink's p-trap underneath, even if it's chrome and flawlessly installed. Hence, the beaded curtain.

Bathroom sink is clogged again? Replace that p-trap!
By alexrussell
Standing by in frustration to watch the water in a clogged bathroom sink drain will not make it go any faster. There is a clog, and it needs to be dealt with. But before you make that call to enrich your local plumber, try replacing the p-trap under the sink yourself. Most likely the clog is there, and when you remove the old one you'll know right away if a tangle of hair and grime is the problem.
A sink's p-trap is there to seal off the pi » READ MORE
