By Chrisjob

Packaging 9

At the end of the day, they're still just noodles...but what student Alex Creamer has empowered this pasta to do? Simply incredible.

"I created this spaghetti packaging for a university project last year. The brief was to package one of 5 difficult items i.e. eggs, a rose, custard powder, spaghetti or marbles. I chose spaghetti. The spaghetti sits on a 3d model of the chrysler building that was modelled on CAD by my friend Ben Thorpe. And then modelled out of high density foam at uni. Creating a spaghetti model of the Chrysler building!"

When Saving for Your First Home, "Every Penny Counts."

By Chrisjob

Have a looksee at this article from Sunday's New York Times. (Yes, I did complete the crossword puzzle.)

Christine Haughney details the experience of four homebuyers struggling to save up for a home in a city where the average Manhattan studio costs $450,000.

Unfortunately, the article concludes, there's no magic involved. Spend less, and save more, and when you want to make a purchase, continually remind yourself, "I want a home."
