How to customize a lampshade with a Sharpie

- Scrounge up a plain old white lampshade*.
- Print a pretty silhoutte to use as a template.
- Tape the template to the inside of the lampshade.
- Sit in front of a window, using it as a backlight.
- Use a fine-point Sharpie to outline the template.

How to Paint Kitchen Cabinets

Take a look at Amy’s cabinets. She’s posted the entire process over on day-lab diy. Sure, it was a lot of work, but if you follow her steps, you could get the same fantastic results. This is the Cliffs Notes version of what she did:
