Architectural Tiles

By Chrisjob

"These high relief, large format ceramic architectural tiles are designed and manufactured by Bryan Kerrigan, using a high fired stoneware clay body and amazing glazes from Mason Color Works. Glazes are either high gloss or matte. They’re excellent for interior and exterior applications in all climates. Oh, yeah: they’re BIG. This is POP, baby…"

Wailing, gnashing of teeth

UGH

I left town on Friday for my one-year-old nephew's birthday party, driving to Missouri with my folks, then over to Chicago with my sister, and then took the bus back on Monday. I returned to my apartment which magically was 3 degrees warmer than when I left. Strange, but I suppose it's better than being 30 degrees colder or warmer.

But what struck me as I opened the door, was how much I STILL have left to do. Much to my chagrin, the apartment-o » READ MORE

At last! The new loft bed!

By badbadivy

It's finally, here, the boys' new loft bed. They got it on Saturday, but I just now got around to uploading the pics.

This is what I had in front of my house at 7:41 in the morning on Saturday. That's really early, yo.

The guys got right to work setting it up, and they were out of my house by 7:58.

And there they are, enjoying the top bunk. Except, of course, my 13 year old, who is too eeeeeeemo to enjoy anything.

This is not the best sho » READ MORE

3 kids, 2 bedrooms- WWYD?

By badbadivy

I bought the kids a loft bed similar to the one in the pic last Saturday (with my parents' help- my wallet and I thank them profusely) and the drama in my house has skyrocketed because of it. So, dear Curbly readers, I am asking your help.

I have 2 sons, one who is almost 13 and another who is 3. I also have a daughter who is 6. I live in a 3 bedroom home, so 2 kids are going to have to share a bedroom. I have been having the boys share a room » READ MORE

Clean slate!

By beccajo

Well the big move happened this weekend. 20-inch snowfall and all, I have 90% of my stuff out of my old apartment.

There were some bumps and bruises along the way, but for the most part it went extremely well. I avoided two major car accidents, but I think my shocks may be shot on my car.  I had a smashing time with my siblings(including my 11 month old nephew) who all came to town to assist with the move, and to be present for an award given to » READ MORE

French Fry Factory into Massage Spa

By raydawg88

Hey.  Over the last 6 months I've been transforming an old french fry factory in jack london square into a 4 room massage spa and a live in loft.  It's been a lot of work, and we're no where near done.  Just wanted to share what we had so far and see what you guys thought.

The living room, bedroom, office and soon to be massive walk in closet.

My Happy Sleeping Loft

By gregoryjohnson

My happy sleeping loft is where I sleep, meditate, do Yoga, and awaken in the morning to the sunrise and birds singing, or fall asleep at night to the sound of crickets. The smooth pine wood reflects the pure sunlight in many directions. When open, the window allows fresh highly-oxygenated air to flow through. During those times when when life gets very luxurious, I might even take a nap in the sleeping loft. It's also a great place for relaxing » READ MORE
