I aquired this desk...no idea what year it was built, but I wanted to refinish it. The only problem is that is was made with a veneer which is peeling off in places (as well as the paint). I was thinking of using wood filler to build the spots up but I don't know if this will work...anyone have suggestions or suggestions on what to do with it?
