MAKE SHIFT SHIKIBUTON & TATAMI MATS?
By ngblingSo, I'm new CURBLY but having much fun surfing and reading all the great ideas! WELL, i just moved into a new, brand spanking new flat with nothing inside. It's quite apacious, so I don't really need a futon, but I like firm, low beds and the idea of having the freedom to change it up in my room! Plus, it's more green than a mattress.

I like to haunt this site for great mid-century modern inspiration. When I cruised in today, I saw the above couch and thought, "Yo, I need this couch!" The only problem is, I'm po', so I can't afford the $1800 price tag that's on it. Not to mention, the store is in Dallas, and if I'm not driving to Atlanta to go to Ikea, I'm darn sure not driving to Dallas to pay $1800 for a couch!
