LED Floor Captures Digital Footprints.

By Chrisjob

Floor designers Sensacell installed a 250 sq. foot interactive LED floor from 1000 of their LED panels at the 2008 World Expo in Spain. Over time, the floors begin to remember patterns and trails of steps, which will either highlight how often we go to the refridgerator, or remind us of our ecological footprint. One or the other.

Remnanats Available

By WeatheredStone

Hello everyone!

We have had a lot of requests from installers and diy's if we have any leftover pieces they can use to try out on a small project. Due to the fact that we have a very good quality control there are not enough remnant pieces to give to everyone who want them we decided to post the remnants on eBay. This is a great way to pick up enough product to do a backsplash, piece of furniture, or small foyer. Here is what we currently have ava » READ MORE

Pet Approved Flooring For Your Home

By Deborah

The floor of your home may be the most important part of the house to a pet. I mean, they spend almost all of there time there, especially if mom and dad don't let them up on the furniture. We let Gus and Charly have free range of the house. They can hop up on the sofas, beds, even the chairs sometimes. But I think they still prefer to spend a majority of their time on the floor.

Ceramic Animal Footprints: Snow Print Tiles.

By Chrisjob

Snow Print tiles mimic the soft curves of animal prints in the snow. Paired with some matching white tiles, and they'd be playful be conspicuous enough. DIYable? Perhaps with some sweet ceramic skills, and a quick jaunt to Budapest for some authentic impressions.

Kitchen floor that is impossible to clean....

By brant

Help!  My girlfriend and I moved into an apartment a few months ago, and the kitchen floor has become the bane of our existence.

The floor is white tile, but is very rough and porous.   It seems to attract stains and dirt with hunger.  We have tried everything to clean it, but it chews up every mop we've used.  Our current routine is: vacuum, mop, let dry, vacuum up mop bits.  And it still doesn't get very clean.
