Curbly Video: Using Paper Napkins to Make Decorative Tile Coasters

- Mod Podge (I used the Matte-Mat)
- small paint brush

Sometime last month, I went home to my parents' house and my mom had this bookshelf sitting in the driveway, which she had purchased at a junk shop. She wanted me to do something with it RIGHT THEN! Well, I needed time to think about it, and it sat in my car's trunk for weeks.

New Crush:Matthew Mead
By beccajoOH Matthew Mead, where have you been all my life?
First, you pimp an IKEA lantern.

Then, you make a delish salad (perfect for my poker/taco night Thursdays).

But Matthew, you had me at 'hello' with these, genius, ruffled skirts for ice cream cones.

Be sure to check out his archives too.

This table is wooden and was a natural wood tone. It was in pretty good shape structurally. It initially was very dirty and scratched and had casters on i » READ MORE
Recycling Killer Ornaments
By EmilyJayneOkay. So I had a billion of these glass ornaments laying around, that I inherited. Sure, they're great. But I have large dogs that have even seemingly larger tails that bring the fragile orbs to their demise. Not to mention little hands pulling on and bumping or spinning wildly into them. It brought me to thinking about how to recycle them, since I'm an advid advocate for Mother Earth.
I found these ornaments from Pier One.
