It’s a fairly straightforward project, but it can be very tedious. After doing a couple of coasters, I now realize that it’s probably too diffi » READ MORE

Candy Corn Tote
By SilverWing
My new favorite fall accessory! I love tote bags, as I'm always needing to carry things with me, be they books, craft projects, or otherwise. I loved the way this bag turned out. I added the "chocolate" candy corn color to give it a little more punch. ^^ It's a simple single crochet stich done with four different skeins of yarn.

Candy Corn Inspiration...From Nature
By DIY Maven
Okay, so candy maker Brach’s gets their candy corn to get those funky colors by using various numbered dyes including yellows # 6 and 5, red # 3 and just to confuse those of us who read labels, blue #1. But just because these hues are as fake as the blue of Paris Hilton’s eyes, doesn’t mean we can’t find the oh-so-Halloween-y color combo in nature. Case in point: the Snapdragon Candy Corn. Described as smelling of cinnamon and spice, the snazzy » READ MORE
