The $20 (Temporary) Bathroom Makeover

I'm going to come right out and say it. I HATE our bathroom with a fiery passion. After living with it for a year-and-a-bit I decided that something had to be done.  Now my first choice would have been to rip it out, burn the pieces and salt the earth, cursing all the while. Trouble is this is a rental, and the agency might have a problem with that.

Design genius, or design disaster?

Yesterday, I traveled to the famous Mothership BBQ, home of Nashville's best BBQ and also home to the most photographed bathroom in Nashville history.

Jim Reams, owner of Mothership BBQ, did not have a huge budget for decorating whhen he opened his restaurant, so he used creative methods for decorating. He posted album covers all over the walls, and a life sized Rod Stewart cutout graces the front room:
