Turn your button-up shirts into pillows!

By DIY Maven

Check out Martha's clever idea for repurposing button-up shirts into pillows. If the shirts have a pocket, it's suggested that you remove them with a seam ripper, but I think a pocket would be a great place to stash the clicker!

Supplies you'll need:

'One shirt with a button placket

Seam ripper (optional)

Measuring tape

Paper, for making pattern

Scissors

Roll cutter

Pillow [form]'

For the how-to run-down, head on over to Martha's place.

Decorate your dirt.

By DIY Maven

Martha has a tip on decorating the dirt of your indoor plants with pebbles. Of course Martha couldn’t just dump the rocks on top like I do; no, she has to arrange them in concentric circles. I must admit, the effect looks pretty cool. I bow to the master.

Crafty Invites

By NCavillones

I was inspired by a project in the January issue of Martha Stewart Living to make my own invitations for a friend's baby shower. The original project was for a New Year's Eve party, so instead of doing a champagne glass, I did heart cut-outs. The insert has the lyrics to "Thank Heaven for Little Girls" on one side and the shower invites on the other side. Sure, it would have been cheaper and taken less time to buy pre-made cards and run the » READ MORE

make your own crystal snowflake

By ckilgore

crystal snowflakeHow do y'all feel about the big momma of craft ladies, Martha Stewart? I know, for some reason, I shouldn't like hr, but dammit, some of the stuff she (or her staff) come up with is so cute. And it really made me sad that they quit publishing Martha Stewart Kids, because that was the best mag in the whole line of publications. All the activities, the graphics ... it was just yummy.

What was I talking about? Oh yeah ... crystal snowflakes. I saw th » READ MORE
