My name is Stephanie. I'm 23 years old. I just moved to Columbus, OH for my husband's new job. I am looking for a job and trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. I have a wonderful Boston Terrior named Daisy. She is our baby. I like to paint, draw, sew and make cards and other handmade things. I like to decorate. I love fresh flowers, they make me happy. I like to read. I like reading blogs that give ideas for making life easier and more pleasant. My husband and I have lived in many different apartments and are always looking for ways to make them feel like home without the ability to paint. Our favorite place to buy things for our apartment is Ikea. We made a few trips to the Pittsburgh, PA Ikea and the Canton, MI Ikea, the closest ones to us, (both are about 3 hours away) and we bought a lot of stuff for our new apartment making it feel a little more like home.

Printable wrapping paper from Blueprint Magazine

Candy Corn Flower Arrangement

My entry is a 'Flower Arrangement' made using Candy Corn. My original idea was to make flowers out of Candy Corn by making it into a gum paste and actually shaping it into realistic looking flowers, but that didn't work out as I planned. I got the Candy Corn to mold, but it would not harden. I finally decided to just try to make flowers out of whole Candy Corn and this is what I came up with. So, these are pretty simple to make.
