My wants as far as dining tables go were few - solid wood, clean lines and, most of all, small. This one extends and appears to be oak. (I will strip and refinish later on down the track.) We picked it up on Trade Me for NZ$62. We're thrilled with it... and the extra space it gives us in the lounge! The two chairs were also found via Trade Me. The seller mentioned that there was "a bit" of rust. We've given up on sanding it all off and are considering a non-toxic rust remover. Then I can oil the seats (solid kauri) and we can actually begin using them...
