I love a good tabletop. In another life, I would have liked to have been a place settings designer. If you're into awesome tabletop decor too, here are 14 projects to help you entertain this summer!
Our basement family room was recently given a much needed makeover! The space was totally out of date, dark and uninviting. I started with giving the walls a fresh coat of white paint and brought in some new pieces for the room. Still, the space was asking for something a little more modern and one-of-a-kind. Since I love plants SO much and I try to have one in every room possible, I created a fun this super simple plant wall to show off my little green collection and add some serious life to the space! This week's DIY roundup runs the gamut from small projects like DIY coconut bowls to larger furniture and rug makeovers. The rug is my favorite. So, there are plenty of options for whatever kind of DIY you may want to try this weekend. Sound good? Let's get to the tutorials.
I'm on a bit of a citrus kick. And a color kick. And I obsess over and collect tea towels. So when you combine those three things, only magic can happen. And that's just what these tea towels are. So cheery, bright, and perfect to display in any kitchen!
If you're searching for the perfect handmade (and last minute!) gift for mom, this is it. I'd want these beautiful bowls as a gift even if it weren't Mother's Day! Bonus: the kids can help!
Have you seen those coiled rugs, made popular by Armadillo & Co, that have been trending lately? They're really beautiful, but (unfortunately) out of budget for many. Okay, confession time. I have a lot of random junk in my garage. I love to thrift, so when I come across furniture that has "potential", I buy it and save it for a rainy day. So, whatContinue Reading

As fans of DIY and crafting, I'm guessing we all still have a soft spot for actual paper magazines. Some, Martha Stewart comes to mind, have photography that is pretty enough to be framed. In this case, Nancy decided to skip the frame entirely and transfer images from magazines directly on to canvas. The result is a really coolContinue Reading

Have an old table runner? Make a cool lumbar pillow, with this clever DIY idea that screams weekend project.
These three store-bought cakes (from Whole Foods) were pretty to begin with, but a little DIY later and they're gorgeous. Yes, they're lovely enough for a wedding, but also for birthdays, wedding showers, baby showers, Mother's Day...youContinue Reading
