Having recently inherited a rather old sewing machine from a great aunt, I am slowly teaching myself how to decorate my apartment and make clothes from fabrics I have lying around.

By sabsaramaI love old, colorful fabrics, but sometimes you just can't decide what to do with it. I've had this old handkerdhief for years, my grandmother gave it to me when I was wee. So last week, I took an old pillow (yes, the kind that you would sleep on), cut it almost in half and sewed it up. Then I sewed the colorful cloth into a pillow case, shoved the pillow in it and sealed it up.
And voila, some cheeriness for my livingroom.
