copper cleaning and Incralac

What i need to know is how to properly clean a piece of copper pipe so i can clearcoat it. Also i think i may use Incralac for my clearcoat, has anyone out there used this stuff? pics?

copper pipe sculptures

By s2kbtheway quick question concerning copper pipe.I am going to make some sculpture pieces and was curious as to  how to keep the shine on the pipe? does one use a clearcoat etc...
