Pond quandary

By ruajennie

My husband and I are looking at buying a cute 1930s era house with an amazingly landscaped yard that is just the right size (not too big, not too small). A main feature of the back yard is a pond, complete with fountain. It's in need of some seasonal cleanup (I think), but I'm wondering how much work a pond is...if it will be something that is more of a hassle than something to be enjoyed? Any advice is much appreciated! Thanks!

I have no advice, but I've always wanted a pond. And with a fountain, no less....!
