101 uses for clamps.

By roadvermin

I've been collecting links to innovative design sites on my del.icio.us account for the last few weeks and one that really impressed me was this young dutch designer Jorre van Ast. His clampology system is one of those ideas that is so simple it make you almost cry that you did not think of it first and as for the clamp a leg, dont get me started, its fantastic. The world needs more tools like this, tools that enable you to utilize everyday objects even things usually looked at as scrap in new wonderful ways.

It was a bit disappointing because his exhibit at the design show we just attended was so tiny. His clamps are beautiful for something so functional/practical. We will do a write up very soon on the entire design biennale. - RV's Girl

I love this, thanks for posting! It's so simple and yet no one has thought of it really before. Diffidently a guy to watch.
