Ouno Design is an artisanal design studio in the Pacific Northwest, made up of two designers who produce deluxe fashion and decor accessories from salvaged, recycled as well as new sustainable materials. We're part of the new wave of "westcoast modernism" (also known as "warm" or "soft" modernism) and we combine the principles of serious design with an environmental ethic. We look for materials that are simple, chic, natural, timeless, sensuous, modern, and naturally futuristic - with an emphasis on the best of midcentury modern, 60s and 70s. Our products are high quality. Our pillows are substantial, well-stuffed and continue to look excellent as the years go by. We believe in the environmental value of heirlooms - beautiful, well-made things that will last a very long time and that will always be fashionable regardless of trends. 

We are absolutely committed to recycling or "upcycling" and to green, safe, sustainable practices in contemporary design.
