I’m Amber. I’m 25 years old and I live in Norfolk, Virginia. I’m a graphic & web designer.

I own a 1000 sq ft home that was built in 1953 as part of post-war Navy housing. I have a modern aesthetic and like mixing mid-century modern pieces with thrift store finds and quality contemporary pieces. 

I live with my Boston terrier, Kyla. I blog at My Aim Is True.com. I'm also a member of the Norfolk Craft Mafia.

Things I enjoy making and doing: knitting, sewing, photography working out, cooking my own food, baking and frosting cupcakes, booking punk & hardcore shows, fighting the patriarchy, being straight edge, enjoying MAC makeup, graffiti, making buttons, DIY projects around my house and taming my Boston terrier.

Other things I dig: ice cream, Japanese arts and crafts, geisha, tattoos (American traditional and Japanese), zines, roller skates, bicycles, tea (I don't drink coffee), popsicles, polka dots, vintage 1950s memorabilia and advertising, typography, kawaii, dinosaurs, sharks, anything from the coral reef, Boston terriers, Apple computers, Frida Kahlo, Maya Deren.
