Fabric Scrap Upholstered Headboard

By ModHomeEcTeacher

created at: 2009-09-10

There's patchwork, and then there's PATCHWORK. I was relieved to find this photo over on Decor8 so I can cross it off of my 'to do' list of ideas. A cursory assessment indicates that all you need to for this smart, upholstered headboard is

plywood

foam

scrap fabrics

sewing machine

staple gun

and a couple of covered button kits

plus tools to build the wooden frame

Simple, resourceful and aesthetically delightful.
