DIY-able? Origami Fabric Wallcovering

I just love it when someone does something unexpected with fabric. Artist and wallpaper designer Hanna Nyman, in co-operation with interior designer Marie Dreiman, has created her recognizable 3-D wallcovering, only this time with origami folded fabric.

The blocks of calm color adorned a wall at the 2008 Stockholm Furniture Fair for client Bogesunds Vaveri. You know what I'm thinkin'? This really could be DIY-able project on a small entry wall if you know how to do just this one origami design. They could be attached with hidden staples or fabric glue.

Check out Hanna's "Goodnight Storytelling" blinds for children afraid of the dark.

Check out Rebecca Wat's book, Fantastic Fabric Folding...  This book covers this exact fabric folding technique and is one I have on my bookshelf to make for myself.
