On: Our attempt at a modern nursery. Got the Poang chair frame off of craigslist and bought a replacement cushion from Ikea. The danish modern chest is second hand and the matching mate is on the other wall. Didn't see the logic in buying a special purpose changing table when something more permanent would work as well. We'll use one chest as a changing table and repurpose it for general storage after diaper life ends. I painted the mural using some home made stencils and inspiration from Ready Made #18 and Charles Harper artwork. My intent was to do something myself to create a special room for our baby and give the room a modern story book feel. This shot shows off the entire mural--I put one bird near the entry door just to break it up a bit more, and it just happened to be placed in a way where the baby has something to look at during a diaper change. Wow thanks, OK now I'm properly motivated to tear those chairs apart.
