Is that a picture of Jacki O? I LOVE your dining room. Our "coffee table" in the living room has a glass top...I'm still trying to figure out how I feel about it.
I found these great slip clovers at Stretch and Cover. I've heard good things about them!

The reason I thought of slip covers was b/c of your post about Stretch and Cover on LJ. They are totally cute!
I am not crazy about glass -- esp. with the baby coming. However, I like the dining room set. We will probably get rid of the glass/metal coffee table though b/c it is baby height.
